Course Designation and Credit Assignment

A course will be represented by course number, course title, credit hours and contact hours per week. Each course is designated by a four letter word identifying the program name followed by a four-digit number as illustrated in the following examples. For the purpose of assessment, 50 marks (points) will be assigned to a 2-credit hours course and 2- contact hours/week will be allocated for the course in each semester. A course code is given below as an example:

Course Registration

A student may register for minimum of 10 (ten) credit hours and maximum of 12 (twelve) credit hours in a semester. However, in the last semester a student should register for viva voice.
